Business Development Representative (BDR) – Expansion Focus

We build core-agnostic technology that enables banks to launch modern digital banking experiences, streamline retail and business onboarding, and grow deposits without replacing their core systems.Our platform supports online deposit account opening, business onboarding, digital banking, and relationship-building tools for both retail and commercial banking. By combining modern user experiences with the operational, compliance, and integration realities of community banks, Linker Finance helps financial institutions move faster, serve their customers better, and compete more effectively in an increasingly digital market. We are building technology for a critical part of the financial ecosystem: the community banks that support local businesses, families, and communities across the country.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, you will have high visibility to the leadership team. The key metric is to grow revenue by introducing new prospects, drive campaigns, and conference participation to add to our existing customer base. As a key part of our growth engine, you will execute targeted, multi-channel outreach (email, phone, conferences, LinkedIn) to turn whitespace into qualified opportunities. 

What You’ll Do

  • Build Pipeline: Book qualified meetings and deliver high-quality handoffs to begin sales process.
  • Targeted Prospecting: Research and prioritize accounts to identify new opportunities within an assigned territory.
  • Drive Expansion: Execute outreach programs focused on cross-selling and upselling to existing bank and credit union partners.
  • Orchestrate Outreach: Partner with Marketing to execute campaign follow-up and event-driven, orchestrated GTM motions.
  • Track Sales Process: Update and maintain account plan following defined sales process.
  • Maintain CRM Hygiene: Utilize Salesforce to track activity, pipeline, and performance accurately.
  • Learn & Grow: Participate in enablement, refining your sales acumen in fintech and SaaS. 
  • Career Advancement: Overachieve on goals to advance to other sales roles.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years in B2B tech, banking, fintech, or SaaS sales/business development.
  • Skills: Exceptional written/verbal communication and a knack for engaging buyers via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Tools: Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, and Google environment
  • Mindset: Highly organized self-starter, coachable, and motivated by impact.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. 

Additional Requirements

• Experience working with banks, fintech companies, core providers, or other regulated financial services organizations is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to complete a background check, in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with product, design, engineering, and leadership teams.
